Friday, November 3, 1865. A harder day than yesterday. Came home at recess & am ashamed to confess to the weakness of taking a good cry. Sought strength from God. P.M little better Throat sore, head aching & terribly "blue". Mrs W_s family all kind and sympathizing. Called at the Com' College & had a pleasant time with Prof's Waite, Crosby &c.
