Monday, November 6, 1865. The usual round in the schoolroom today but not quite so hard as on Friday. Find much comfort in prayer, but the work is very hard. In the evening Dr B- called and stayed about an hour. Conversation very pleasant. Instead of spending the rest of the reading or writing as I ought it all went in unprofitable conversation. I do hope not many more will [pass or].
