Wednesday, November 8, 1865. Up early & back to Mrs Williams. Found a letter from Mrs W-urging me to come to Des Moines. How gladly I would go if I could get off from this school. Manda & Tillie visited our school. As soon as it was out we went to Mrs Dees to tea & had a very pleasant eve'. Went home intending to do the necessary writing but spent all the evening in Miltons room.
