Sunday, November 12, 1865. One of the most beautiful days of the season. This Indian Summer is perfectly inspiring. Spent all the day at Mrs Darwins. A note from Dr B- informing me of his good fortune. With Ella & Manda read one of Beechers sermons & several other articles. Pleasant walk to Mrs W-s Talked quite a while with M- & spent the rest of the evening reading my Bible & the Guide to Holines
