Monday, December 4, 1865. A new grade brot into our room today, and now we have eighty scholars and hard work. When evening.came I was glad to devote myself to my writing and really.finished it. Then wrote a somewhat leangthy letter to Mattie F-. Read, my chapters and had the usual season of refreshing. Am more light hearted than usual since I commenced this work.
