Tuesday, December 5, 1865. The usual round in school today. When that was over called on Mrs Beardsley, and found her a very sensible pleasant woman. Then to Mrs Dees where I found Manda and we all had a pleasant hour together. Went to Dr Tiffanys leacture - "[Sham] & [?]" and enjoyed it very much. Alice C & Manda both in a merry mood & furnished us a good deal of amusement.
