Sunday, December 17, 1865. Up pretty early & had a very pleasant walk home. Heard a good sermon and enjoyed class, but not quite so much as last Sabbath. P.M. read in my Bible, attended Sabbath school and spent some time with M- very pleasantly. Have felt an earnest spirit of prayer today, but am not sure that I have kept the hights I gained last Sabbath. O! for more grace & courage this week.
