Friday January 19, 1923 Busy at home in AM. Wrote to Laura Mason. Mrs Falk and I went calling in afternoon. Weather perfect. Saturday January 20, 1923 Did some washing and picked out nuts for Mrs Falk. We went down town in afternoon to a picture show, "Silver Wings" We neither like it. Wrote to Fannie Sunday January 21, 1923 Went to Presbyterian SS and Methodist church. Had dinner with the Falks at Hutchinson Hall. Came home soon. Read papers. Wrote to Lizzie Duncan. Music in evening. Monday January 22, 1923 I read some and did fancy work in AM. I did not feel like going to town with Miss Falk in afternoon. I have a slight cold. Sat on the porch and wrote Sue & Sallie. Tuesday January 23, 1923 Another fine day. I wrote Winnie, Hattie & Cousin Jen and did some fancy work. We went to town in afternoon to a picture show & did errands. Read papers in evening Wednesday January 24, 1923 I read some in AM. Mrs Falk went to town and brought company out for dinner. We took them back later. I called at Mrs Pickens. Letters from Hattie & Laura Mason. Thursday January 25, 1923 Mrs Falk and I went over near Lake Helen to dinner. Back to town at three oclock. She to picture show, I to the Presbyterian Church. I have a bad cold. doctored up and to bed early. Letter from Warner McCall, Tishie & Dr Smith family
