Saving...
Friday June 1st 1923 It is 36 years today since Ott & Fannie were married. I sewed some on curtains. I did not feel well. Rested in PM. Letters from Mrs Falk and Laura. wrote to her. Spent evening in the car in town. Saturday June 2nd 1923 A pleasant day. Mollie Stevens here for dinner. Hattie to town late in afternoon. I did fancy work and visited with Edith. Very busy at the stores. Ott got home from Chatanooga. Down there awhile. Sunday June 3rd 1923 This is the day we furnish the flowers for the Church in memory of Mother. Cora took Ott, Hattie, Edith and me to church. We all had dinner at Otts. I came on home to rest. Matt Owens came and they all went to ride but me. Then George Bremner came. We had supper at home. Otts folks went home. We took Matt to town and the girls went to the band concert. I wrote Lizzie Lindley in afternoon. Monday June 4th 1923 We were home most of the time. Norma did both washing and ironing. Mrs Nixon came late in PM. Wrote Mattie Stitt. Tuesday June 5th 1923 The three Mrs Whetstones drove to Cedar Rapids. I went to The Alumni dinner with Ott which I was happy to do. George Bremner went home this AM. Weather warm. Came from the dinner in a Taxi. Then down to sit with Fannie till the girls came.
