Saturday May 10th 1924 Knitting on the bag. Rob out of town. Normia went home for week end. I walked to town, rode home with Cora. After supper to Otts. I came home. The girls spent the evening. Letter from Lizzie Lindley. Sunday May 11th 1924 I had a bad night with head ache. But went to church with The Whetstones. Rob took us out to dinner. Hattie & I rode with Ott & Fannie in afternoon. Evening at home. I looked over old papers. Hattie writing & reading. Monday May 12th 1924 Mormia did washing. I knit on bead bag. I rode to town with Fannie. Hattie to Home Board meeting and church supper. It has been a beautiful day. It is 38 years since Will and I were married. If I only had him now for a new home. Tuesday May 13th 1924 I knit pretty steady on bag. Hattie and I down to Fannies in afternoon. Mollie to stay all night. A ride after supper, Wednesday May 14th 1924 Ott came up early to tell he had met the men in regard to selling the old place to The State for about $25,000. They agreed to take that. Emma here sewing for Cora. Hattie at luncheon. Fannie and I rode to Aid Society with Mrs Shafter. Hattie, Cora & I to play in evening. Letter from Lydia. Thursday May 15thj 1924 I looked over old papers all AM & evening. The girls to a luncheon. I met them later at Mrs Thomas for Aid meeting. I came home with Rob. We rode after supper. Hattie & Cora down to Otts in evening. I looked over and destroyed papers.
