Thursday July 24th 1924 Hattie & I here all day. I sewed on my dress. wrote Ida & Lydia. We had a short ride after supper. Friday July 25th 1924 I fixed a rug for Hattie and did some washing for myself. We rode with Fannie & LeGrand and met William & Mary coming home. It was two years today since I started west by way of Vancouver. Wrote Lizzie. Hattie & I over to The Byingtons in the evening. Saturday July 26th 1924 I sewed some today though my eye was hurting some. The Byingtons here in AM. A fine day. Sunday July 27th 1924 Hattie to church. I wrote to Ella Levegood, Sallie Reed and Birdie. Read some. The Byingtons drove to Keokuk. Mormia home. We rode over to the old home after supper. Monday July 28th 1924 I sewed some. Weather warm. Hattie down town most of forenoon. We all slept in PM. The Byingtons drove up with a new closed car after supper. So glad for them. Tuesday July 29th 1924 I sewed most of the day. Helen Whinery here in PM. Rob took Hattie & me over to Otts for the evening. Wednesday July 30th 1924 I sewed some. William & Mary here. They went home in PM. Hattie & I rode with Fannie & LeGrand after dinner. Edith birthday. We went to cemetery after supper. Then sat in the car in front of store. Very warm.
