Saving...
Saturday September 6th 1924 Ott went with Mr VanHorne to Brooklyn today and was home for late dinner. I went to town for the mail and a treatment with Dr Stryker. Rode home in bus. Knit on bag in PM. Alliene Johnston and family and Hattie here for awhile in the evening. Sunday September 7th 1924 I walked to church and Ott came for me. Fannie was sick in bed most of the day. I wrote to Mattie Stitt, Ida Burkett, Ann Henslee, Ella Wilcox, Sister Ida, Mrs C K Patterson and sent Old Settlers book to some. Monday September 8th 1924 It is 44 years today since John & Hattie were married. I was busy knitting on bag. I walked to town in PM. Went to picture show. Rode home in Bus. Tuesday September 9th 1924 I finished Catherines bag and packed it, then wrote she and Birdie. Sent them by Jean to be mailed. Fannie and I rode to Washington with Ott in afternoon. Roads perfect and fine ride. Wednesday September 10th 1924 It rained most of the day. But I went to The Missionary meeting at Mrs Custers in the afternoon. Hattie came back with me. Mrs Swisher was here when Cora came for Hattie. She brought me a letter from Ida. Ott down to Rock Island for the day.
