Mrs Merrimans Zummer Kiichin 1 cup sugar 1/2 " butter - creamed 1 egg 1 cup of sweet milk 3 " flour into which has been sifted 1/2 teaspoon soda & 1 teaspoon cream Tartar 1 cup of currants 1 teaspoon of lemon nutmeg When ready for oven spread melted butter sugar & cinnamon over top
