good Snow Pudding. moisten one half box gelatine in 1 1/2 cup cold water add to it a hot syrup made from 1 half pt. cold water grated rind of one lemon and Juice of two and 3 fourths cup of sugar strain and let nearly cold Then the beaten whites of two eggs. beat ten min. use the yolks to custard. Make custard of the two yolks with one small teaspoon corn starch mixed with two tablespoons sugar and 3/4 cup milk. Let cool and flavor. White of egg is splendid for renovating leather chairs when they begin to look shabby. Remove all dust and dirt from the chairs, then rub with a cloth dipped in the white of egg, which should have first been well beaten. When dry rub well with soft clean cloth and the leather will most look like new. good idea
