um! good!! Frozen Mapel Pudding Heat quickly 1 pt of rich mapel sirup - Let stand off the fire for a moment then pour in a thin stream over 4 eggs beaten until very light Return to the fire in double boiler & stir lifting frequently, until the mixture is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon Strain & stand aside to cool, stir frequently Add 1 pt of good cream 1 teaspoon vanilla and freeze A housekeeper of long experience says she is no longer troubled with insect pests of any kind since an old cook told her to wash shelves, floors, bed slats, bureau drawers, the woodwork around the sink, and all crevices with a rather weak solution of alum water.
