broken up in small pieces. After the isinglass has absorbed all the water, put it to boil. Pour this into rather more than a qt milk, warmed, seasoned, & sweetened, then strain it into the moulds, which should just be moistened. Ice Cream. Beat well 1 egg. Take a qt milk, out of which take 1/2 a cupful, & with that mix smoothly 1 tablespoonful [cornina?]. Boil the rest of the milk & pour it boiling hot over the egg & [cornina?]. Then put it on the fire for a few minutes. Sweeten well, & when cold, mix in 1 pt cream, & any seasoning you like. Egg Nog To 6 eggs put 6 heaping tablespoons powdered sugar, Beat the white & yolks separately. Mix the sugar with the yolks & pour over 1/2 pt brandy. Pour on a qt boiling milk, & when cold, stir in the whites whipped to a strong froth. A dish of snow Boil 12 apples in water till soft, then put
