Thursday October 18th 1917 I baked some bread in forenoon. Hattie went to Red Cross rooms in afternoon. I to a picture show and to the library for a book. I walked home, stopped at Fannies on the way. Spent the evening at home. Friday October 19th 1917 Hattie went with Mrs Lambert to do Red Cross work. I had dinner ready when she got home. Will & I rode up town with Rob. I took my treatment and went to Coralville at 2:30. Will went the car before. I got some things ready for him to bring home. I got of at [Moreville?] to go to Ed McCallisters and call on Arch Stinsons mother and sister who are here on a visit. I came to town on the car and home with Rob in the Auto. weather cold. Saturday October 20th 1917 We dident have much on hand for the forenoon. a little ironing and baking. I walked to town soon after dinner (Rob & Cora ate with us). I got me a new suit case. I went to Coralville for some things at 2:30 and back at 3:15. Hattie was in town awhile. I had a card from Lydia and wrote to her. spent evening at home. Sunday October 21st 1917 LeGrand took us to church this morning. Will had walked over and met me out at The Drug Store. Rob & Cora went away for the day with The Blooms. The folks at Otts and Hattie went to Vespers to hear Robbie Wise in afternoon. I sat in a chair most of the evening looking over town
