Tuesday January 4 1910 It snowed and blowed all day. Will churned for me. I prepared the butter for the table down home for Mother's birth-day party tomorrow. I baked a cake to take. I worked on my tatting and read some. Will at home all day. Wednesday January 5 1910 It was frightfully cold today and every thing [snowed full?]. Will took a horse and made pathes so I got to the depot at 11.12 and he came an hour later I helped Hattie with the dinner. They had a turkey and the dinner was fine. Aunt Ellen did not get up It was 26 below zero in the morning and below all day I came home at 4.30 coming up [town?] I got me such a pretty platter at Hatches to match my tea plates. Mother was 84 years old today. May she be here next year. Thursday January 6 1910 I was busy with the house wash all forenoon It was very cold below zero all day. George and Florence Stevens were here all afternoon Florence brought me such a nice cooking fork. I made tatting and read in the evening
