on up town to get some flowers for Mother and took a cab over home. The folks all got there and we had a very pleasant party. Mother seemed so well. I came home at 5.30 got us some supper and did fancy work all the evening. Friday January 6 1911 A fine winter day. I baked bread and cleaned the house all over. Went down at 2.15. Walked out to Summit St. Called at Mrs. Smiths and John McCallisters. Did not find Callie at home got home at 5.40. soon had summer did fancy work. Saturday January 7 1911 A warm day again. A short forenoon. Will went to town at 1.15 and I down to Woolfs an hour later Came home at 5.40. We got a paper today that Mrs. Rebecka [Limbach?] had died at Chillicothe O. aged 87 Sunday January 8 1911 It blew up [very?] cold. I was about the house all day. I did some writing and read a book through. Will about the house all day. This was Grand Father McCallisters birth-day born 1799
