Saturday January 25th 1913 Was busy all forenoon cleaning up the house. went down town at 1:15 got some things for Will to bring home. I got myself a new set of beaver furs. I walked over to Otts then on up home with Hattie to supper. Did not come home till 9:30 Ott brought me over to the track. We were talking all evening about selling of some of the Old Place. Sunday January 26th 1913 It was like a spring morning. I went to church. It turned very cold in afternoon. I wrote Adda Miller. Mrs Parsons & Lizzie Lindley. I read aloud to Will most of the evening. Monday January 27th 1913 I was busy with the work all forenoon. weather milder Went down to marys in the afternoon. she is not well I am working on the collar for my black cloak. Tuesday January 28th 1913 I did the house work and did quite a lot on my collar. Will to town in afternoon and in the evening We went down to see "the Littlest Rebel" Rob Cora Robert and Mildred were with us. It was fine and we enjoyed it. Wednesday January 29th 1913 It was fine day. I finished my collar in the morning and put it on my coat. I went down to Aunt Libs at 3:15. Later the girls from the hill were over and Callie and daughter Anna called. I walked up town to get some fresh fruit. Come home at 5:30. Did some work in the kitchen after supper. a letter from Lydia today.
