Saving...
Mondat January 5th 1914 It was three years today since we had Mothers last birthday party. She was 85 years old. What a pleasure it would be to spend a few hours with her. O the joy of seeing her again I spent the day at home doing as little house work as we could get a long with. I keep busy with sewing and fancy work. Tuesday January 6th 1914 At home all day putting in the time as yesterday. I had a letter from Millie and good letter from Nellie. Will about the place most of the day. weather cloudy but no snow. Mary was out in afternoon. Wednesday January 7th 1914 I did some baking and got dinner. I went to town at 1:15. Was at Dr Smiths office he gave me another bottle of medicine. I did some errands and went over to Mrs Hebrlings where we had a very pleasant meeting of The Club. I went up home and stayed till after supper. I came to town with Rob & Cora and home at 7:30. Did fancy work till bed time. Thursday January 8th 1914 Will helped me do a big washing. I put the clothes in the house and garret it was so foggy. I sewed on my gray dress skirt in afternoon. The clothes were dry enough to fold in evening. Friday January 9th 1914 I did the ironing by noon and sewed some early in the afternoon. Hattie & Lorie came out for an hour going back to Mr Willis at 5:15. I got out suppers and tried to work on my tatting but was so tired I went to bed at 8:30 oclock. weather some colder. Will about home all day.
