Monday May 25th 1914 I did not do much of any thing in the forenoon and went to town to see Dr Breene about my teeth they hurt me so I cannot wear them. I wont try anymore. Will about home all day. I read in the evening. Tuesday May 26th 1914 I went down home at 9:15. Hattie & Ott went to Marshalltown early to Aunt Anna Bremmers funeral. I got the dinner before Agnes for here from school. Will came down. I spent the afternoon with Aunt Lib and came to town after supper to the picture show. Home at 8:30 I gave Edith Robinson a tatting handerchief. wrote to Ida. Wednesday May 27th 1914 I was at home all day. I wrote some letters. Will and I decided today we would not go to Ohio till September. I wrote Winnie, Lydia and Mattie Stilts today. I had a letter from Mattie and Sue Reed today. Thursday May 28th 1914 I wrote the Reed girls in the morning. I went down to Woolfs in the afternoon. I did the evening work and read and talked to Will in the evening. very warm. Friday May 28th 1914 Will & I were down home to dinner. I stopped to talk with Fannie awhile. I came over to town about 3:30 and went to Dr Smiths office for treatment. The weather was some cooler. I did the evening work and went to bed early. I had a letter from Ella Nagle at Lousiville.
