Saving...
Monday April 26th 1915 I went to town early. Got my new dress. When I got back Will had the tacks out of sitting and dining room carpets. We cleared both rooms and I put down the rest of the stair carpet. Will sold the little spring waggon to Frank Stockman. Tuesday April 27th 1915 I swept the parlor and cleaned wood-work. I washed more curtains and ironed and put up all of them. I worked till bed time. It had been fine weather to clean house. I am glad to be done. Wednesday April 28th 1914 I did some baking this morning and after early dinner we went to the west farm. We hurried home to escape a shower. Thursday April 29th 1915 We did a big washing this forenoon and I went to town in the afternoon. Went to picture show and did some errands. I wrote some letters in the evening. A very strong wind today. Hattie left Deland today. Friday April 30th 1915 I ironed in forenoon. Mary Woolf came out at dinner time. When she went home at 5:15. I went with her and took my dress up to Mrs Emmons. I walked back to the Van Meter hotel for supper. Then called at Mrs John Springers and later met Rob & Cora at the store and went to see "Potash & Palmetter" letters from Lydia, Fannie and a lady in Madison Wisconsin. Saturday May 1st 1915 It was late when we got to bed so slept late. I did some mending and got the dinner in time for Will to go to town at 1:15. I cut out a calico dress for myself in afternoon. Fannie got home this morning. Hattie left Jacksonville either last night or this morning for Baltimore by ocean steamer.
