Saving...
Tuesday August 9th 1904 I made jelly this morning and cooked things for dinner. Walter is away threshing. Will went up to the pasture and when he came back he ate some and took me down to Fannie to a luncheon at one oclock. I had a very nice time. There was a slight shower at two oclock and just after we got home there was a hard rain for a little while. Wednesday August 10th 1904 The boys went to the pasture again this morning to look after a colt that has a lame leg. I put away my jelly and had dinner when they came back. Will and I went to town. I called at Murphy's and they gave me Dr Murphys picture. I then went to the Williams girls where they were making paper flowers. Did evening work. Thursday August 11th 1904 I got a nice start on my work. The home folks were all up for the day. Sallie McBride was with them. We had a very pleasant days visit. Mr Whitaker, Aunt Emma and Mrs Richard Sanders called in afternoon. Did evening work after they went home. Walter finished helping the neighbors thresh today. A letter from Laura Mason.
