Saving...
Monday August 15th 1904 Will helped me do a big washing in the morning and soon after dinner we went to Mrs Karns funeral. We came back from the house and I was busy with the evening work. Tuesday August 16th 1904 Will churned for me this morning and I got the ironing done and dinner ready for the men who are stacking oats. I was busy all afternoon and had the men here for supper. late when work was done. Wednesday August 17th 1904 The men finished the stacking by ten oclock. I had a little work in the garden in the forenoon and had early dinner. We went out to the fair grounds to the coaching parade. It was a beautiful sight. Hattie got second prize on her carriage. It looked like rain so we came home early. Thursday August 18th 1904 The home folks, Otts family and Joe Williams came out on the care before dinner and staid till five oclock. We had nice day. I did evening work after they had gone home.
