Saving...
Friday August 19th 1904 It set in to rain early this morning. I did a little sewing, wrote to Laura Mason, and rested some. It is fine to have it rain. The boys could not do much of anything. Walter cleaned out the old shop. Saturday August 20th 1904 I had baking and extra work this forenoon. After early dinner Will went to town and I went as far as home spending the afternoon with Frankie Paintin, Minnie Lathrop, and the Stevens girls and Aunt Ellen who were there. Did evening work. Sunday August 21st 1904 Will and I took a ride up to the pasture and back by the Hemphill road. I then got our dinner and read in afternoon. We had a rain set in about four oclock. Some severe lightning. I was slightly shocked by sitting near the telephone. Monday August 22nd 1904 Will churned for me and I did some washing alone. I got the dinner over and Frankie Paintin and Minnie Lathrop spent part of the afternoon here. Did the regular evening work.
