Thursday October 13th 1904 Will helped me put down the linoleum in the kitchen in the morning and I got it pretty well to rights before noon. I worked on dining and sitting room all afternoon while he went to the pasture he cleaned all the carpets today. Friday October 14th 1904 Will had to go back to pasture this morning. I put down the sitting room carpet and got dinner. In afternoon I washed curtains and put things to rights some. Lydia came back this afternoon with Will this afternoon he was in town in buggy. Saturday October 15th 1904 I washed the stair linen took up carpet and looked after some work Bob was doing. I did a lot of work up stairs in afternoon and put down stairs carpet. Will went to town by car in afternoon. Lorie Foltz started from Cedar Rapids for California this morning. Sunday October 16th 1904 I was busy with the work all forenoon and talking with Lydia. Will took her over to Aunt Emmas in the afternoon. I read some, went to bed early.
