Sunday December 11th 1904 I was busy with the regular work most of the forenoon. Will went to the pasture. It began snowing about ten oclock. Mother telephoned me at noon that they had received word that Aunt Betty Harris died yesterday. I wrote to Birdie in the afternoon and to Lydia. I put in other spare time on a book from the library. read in evening. Monday December 12th 1904 I was busy all morning with the work. Walter came to work. Will went to town in the afternoon and I went down home. Hattie to town. I was down to see Legrand, he is better. Did evening work and read till bed-time. It was six years today since we took Edith away from home. Tuesday December 13th 1904 I had churning. The boys were busy with the work. Will took a calf to town to sell. He went back in the buggy after dinner and I spent the afternoon with Mary Woolf. I had a letter from Joe today. I read all the evening. Wednesday December 14th 1904 It was quite cold today. I was busy with the house-work till noon. I did some sewing and worked on my tatting and lace in the evening. I was going calling down in Coralville but gave it up it was so cold.
