Sunday January 8th 1905 It was a very cold day. I was busy all morning with the work as it was so late when we got up. I wrote to Fannie and to Lydia in the afternoon. read in evening. Monday January 9th 1905 It was snowing some this morning and Walter went up and brought the horses down from Thompsons pasture. Will went to town on the car afternoon. I was busy with my tatting and read in the evening. very cold. Tuesday January 10th 1905 I had churning today. Walter went to help Lucian Dennis haul hogs in the morning and worked for Ed Koser on the ice afternoon. Will busy about the place. I worked on my tatting when not busy with the work. Wednesday January 11th 1905 It began snowing early this morning and was a frightful day. The boys could do nothing but take care of the stock. I was busy all day and evening. Thursday January 12th 1905 It has stopped storming. The boys got up 25 bushel of potatoes from the cellar that Will took down to Mr Borth. I sewed the tatting on Fannies pillow cases in the afternoon. I read and knit in the evening. a letter from Fannie.
