Saving...
8th Sunday January 18th 1874 It was late before we got up this morning as it was nearly noon before we got the work done. We had a turkey for dinner. Mrs Middleton and Crums & Milt Moon happened in and John Anderson brought Hattie home, so we had quite a company for dinner. I wrote to Bertie Croninger in the evening. It was a rainy gloomy night. Monday January 19th 1874 I did a large washing this forenoon and after dinner went to town did not get home till nearly night. The Troupe met here in the evening. I began to write a letter to Pete. Tuesday January 20th 1874 I helped do the work this forenoon. Mother went to town. Just before dinner I finished my letter to Pete and sent it to the office by Owen. Mother went to the valley to stay all night. What time I had in the evening I studied my part in Down by the Sea. It is snowing a little tonight.
