18th Tuesday February 10th 1874. It was late when we got up this morning and as soon as Aunt Emma and family got started home Matthew and I began to get ready to go to Mrs McCalls visiting as we were invited over there today. We had a very pleasant visit. After we came home I helped get the supper on the table and then went to bed. I was not at all well. Wednesday February 11th 1874. Mother and Hattie did the washing today I was not able to. But I got the dinner ready all myself. In the afternoon Hattie and I cleaned the boys room and her and Mother the kitchen a little. In the evening Hatt and Winnie went sleigh riding and Owen and I played cards. I enjoyed the evening very much. Thursday February 12th 1874 I ironed in the forenoon and helped some about the dinner.
