Saving...
60th before time to get supper. Mother and Lee went down to Jim McCollisters to supper After supper Winnie went over to see Hattie Fink. Owen went down town and it was so late before Mother got home that I had gone to bed. I was awful tired tonight. Thursday May 21st 1874. I papered the kitchen today did not get it quite done on account of not having paper enough. After supper I went to the river with Lee to see about his fishing lines. After we came back we played whist Owen and I did not stand the least chance in the world. Father and Winnie beat us right along. Friday May 22nd 1874. I finished up the papering this morning and washed some while Mother and Winnie went to town. In the afternoon Winnie went after Hattie. I talked with Mother all the morning. The girls went to society with Rob and Owen went down town.
