74rd Monday June 15th 1874. Winnie took Hattie to the valley this forenoon and Mother and I washed. We got all done before noon and the house all in order Winnie got back just as dinner was ready In the afternoon I finished Mothers suit. It rained hard just before night. Tuesday June 16th 1875. Mother and I went to town early this morning We got some groceries and I got me a new dress and a new dark calico wrapper. As soon as we got home we began to get dinner. In the afternoon I baked two cakes, and helped iron. We got supper pretty early and after supper I cut me out a white apron. I sewed on it all the evening. Wednesday June 17th 1874. I finished my apron this morning and began on my dress. I sewed pretty steady all day and got the skirt nearly done. Did not sew any after supper but talked with Owen. Mr Alder called on Winnie.
