Saving...
94th Monday August 3rd 1874 I wrote a little more to Charlie this morning and put the clothes on the line for Jennie after they were washed. In the afternoon I ironed my own things and came for Ettie. And after supper Jennie, Aunty, and I went down town. I staid all night at Etties. Tuesday August 4th 1874 I helped Ettie some about her work this morning and took a walk up town. I got me a small breast-pin. Just at supper time Uncle came down after me, and as soon as I got home I changed my dress. I had only just got it done when Mrs Beecher and Owen called. I took a ride with them and enjoyed it very much. I had a letter from home tonight. Wednesday August 5th 1874. It looked like rain today. Jennie was busy sewing today. I read and practiced most of the time. After supper Jennie and I went down town. We took Ett a basketful of apples. Tom and Laura were out home while we were gone.
