Saving...
98th went down to Mr Hess'es below town. Did not get home till real late. We had a splendid visit and enjoyed the ride. Monday August 17th 1874. Jennie washed this morning and in the afternoon we ironed a little. I sewed and wrote some during the day. I wrote a note to a gentleman in Green Valley to try and engage a school. Tuesday August 18th 1874. I sewed a little this morning and wrote a letter to Bertie Croninger in the afternoon. The folks had company from town. And after supper Jennie Laura and I went down town. Wednesday August 19th 1874. The first thing this morning Jennie and I went out to see about a school and were partly successful. After I came home I changed my dress and went down to Etts with Uncle. I spent the afternoon with her and the evening with Mrs Beecher. I did not come out home tonight.
