Sunday July 30th 1905 Edith would have been 24 years old today. I was busy all forenoon with the neglected house-work. Will went up the river with Mr Davis. I read some, wrote a letter to Joe Woolf. Frank Stevens was here for supper. Mrs Whedon back. Monday July 31st 1905 We had a busy day with the sewing and still left a little. Mother was out for the day. Nellie came for her. She goes home tomorrow. I took some time for the house work. Tuesday August 1st 1905 Will took Mrs Whedon home this morning. I had begun washing when he came back. We got it all done by noon. He went down town and I to Marys to spend the afternoon. Did a lot of work in evening after coming home. Wednesday August 2nd 1905 I got the ironing done and made black berry jelly. I had thought to go to town but was too tired. I did the mending. I went over to Mrs. Kosers in the evening. Otts folks gone to Chicago. Thursday August 3rd 1905 We went to town to see the show parade. I got my cloak from Mrs VanPattens. Will had to come home to help thresh. I went home with Mother & Hattie for dinner. I came home on the 4 oclock car. Billy came to do the chores. We had supper. Will did not get home till nearly dark.
