Thursday October 5th 1905 Dorothy came down to see me this morning. Gladys went with me to the depot. I had a pleasant ride to West Liberty. Mother and Ida Anderson were at the depot. We had a nice visit with Ida. Got home about five oclock. Will me me and the girls met Mother. We came on home, had supper. I unpacked part of my things. Spent the evening visiting. Friday October 6th 1905 Will went to Cedar Rapids for the day. I took Mrs Whedon home, called to see Aunt Lib, went on to town to get some things. Stopped at home for a few moments. Got Billy and I some dinner and worked all afternoon at cleaning and scrubbing things up. Will got home at 6:30. We read and talked in evening. Saturday October 7th 1905 I was busy with baking and getting dinner all forenoon. Will went to town. After dinner I went down home. Was at Fannies, she is not well. I rode to town for things I needed. We bought a stove for sitting room. Sunday October 8th 1905 I was busy most of the forenoon. I read some. In afternoon wrote to Lydia and Aunt Sarah. Mary Woolf here awhile. Did evening work and talked with Will till bed-time. weather like summer.
