Saving...
Wednesday January 24th 1906 Will helped me wash in the forenoon and after we had lunch he churned for me. I was really busy with the work most of the day. Hattie they think is a little better today. They have a nurse for her now. Thursday January 25th 1906 I did the ironing in the morning and after lunch we went to town. I did a few errands and went to see Dr Smith. He gave me more medicine and ti report to him in ten days. We stopped to see Mary Woolf. She has been sick. weather quite pleasant. Friday January 26th 1906 We were up early this morning. I had bread baking and churning both to do and dinner to get for 5 extra men. Will helped me some. I got through with it nicely and then finished sawing the wood at exactly 6 oclock. It was late when I got my work done. I had such a scare about Sauk. She went out and when Will came from down town he found her down on the ice so she could not get up. Saturday January 27th 1906 Busy with the work all forenoon. Went down home in afternoon. Hattie better. I am more hopeful than any time since she was taken sick. I baked a nice cake for Mother. I did my evening work and read some. Weather bright again.
