Saving...
Sunday May 13th 1906 We went down home where we had a nice dinner and a pleasant visit. They found the body of Mr Thalburg just before noon. We came home on the 4 oclock car. I looked after my chickens, did the regular work, and went to bed early. Monday May 14th 1906 I did not do much of anything this forenoon. I did not feel very well. John & Hattie were out of {on?} an errand. In the afternoon I was out doors at work all afternoon. Rueben and I made a lot of garden. Will planting corn. Tuesday May 15th 1906 I washed all the windows on the out-side before noon. Will finished planting corn at noon. He put the screens in after dinner and went to town. I sewed some in afternoon. They found the body of the young lady who was drowned last evening at 7.30 oclock. Wednesday May 16th 1906 I helped Will most of the forenoon to put new wire on the screen doors. I cleaned one kitchen cup-board and the dining room closet. I went to town for things in afternoon. Saw the girls both at the store. Will plowed the sweet corn patch this afternoon. Did evening work.
