Thursday October 18th 1906 I was busy with the work all forenoon, had churning to do. John's telephoned they would not come till tomorrow. I peeled pears all afternoon and put them up after supper. Friday October 19th 1906 It took me all forenoon to do the work and get the dinner ready. They came about noon. John Callie & Otto we spent the afternoon visiting. After they started I peeled the rest of the pears and put them up after supper. weather fine. Saturday October 20th 1906 I churned and swept up stairs. The men husked corn till noon. Will went down at 1.30 I finished up the work and went down home in the buggy. Lorie went on over town with me. Will rode home with me. busy all evening. Sunday October 21st 1906 It was a fine day. We went down to Ed McCallisters where we had such a good visit. The ride was so pleasant too. Got home in good time did evening work. and was really busy about the house till bed-time. Monday October 22nd 1906 We got up early. With Wills help I had washing done at 9.30. I baked bread and got dinner. I ironed in afternoon and did a lot of other things. Will hitched Seline with Nellie. Our supper was late. Tom husked corn till dark. Wrote a little and went to bed.
