painting. I was busy all afternoon with doing mending and other sewing. went to bed early. Friday August 8th 1902 Walter McGinns came to work this morning. Will went to cut the millet on the Black land. I did a little washing and the other work. I went down town in the afternoon. I stopped at home and Alice came with me. We stopped at Woolfs for a call. Mary gave me some apples. Saturday August 9th 1902 Alice helped me with the work. I was baking bread and ironing besides getting dinner. I sewed in the afternoon and we churned too. Sunday August 10th 1902 I read and wrote some in the morning and got the dinner. I took Alice down home in the afternoon. I got dishes and things to use this week if we have [chickens?]. Laura came back with me. Will is at home working.
