Sunday August 31st 1902 I was busy about the house all morning. It rained a little early. Walter went away. I read and rested all afternoon. Mollie did not come and I heard the school would not begin for another week. Will did Walters chores tonight. Monday September 1st 1902 Walter churned for me and I had my wash in good shape to go down town a little after nine oclock.. Got a letter from Will. I took Mother some cucumbers. I went up town was home in time to get dinner. I did some varnishing in afternoon and went down to meet Will at five oclock. We spent the evening visiting. Walter working with the shucked oats. Tuesday September 2nd 1902 I was busy all forenoon, did washing. Will and I went down home awhile in the afternoon and stopped at Woolfs for supper. Hattie went to Burlington. Walter helping other thresh.
