Saving...
Saturday September 6th 1902 Walter went away for a couple of days and Will and I went down town and stopped at home for dinner. Hattie is in Burlington. Came home early to do chores. a nice bright day. We stopped at Mary Woolfs to see Joe who came last night. Sunday September 7th 1902 I was busy about the house all forenoon. After an early dinner we went down to Marys to spend the afternoon. The girls were both there. Monday September 8th 1902 It looked like rain but we got threshing done today. I had 22 men for two meals and we got a few hundred bushels of grain threshed out. I had Mrs C Cork to help me and we got along very well. It was a very hard day though. Mollie came last night and began her school today. It is 22 years today since John & Hattie were married. They came from Burlington today.
