Friday November 28th 1902 I helped Ida great part of the forenoon. We baked a big cake and churned. Will was fixing the barn as he could not go to town with me so Ida went.It was nearly night when we got home. I had to wait so long in the Dr office. I did some shopping. Saturday November 29th 1902 It snowed last night so the boys could not husk corn so went back to town. Ida gave the house a good sweeping and I was busy sewing all day. Will was working at the barn most of the day. Sunday November 30th 1902 Ida went to town. I had the dinner started when she got home. I read some and wrote my diary and a letter to Vene. Mollie came back tonight. She tells us that Charlie Bowen shot himself while out hunting yesterday and died today.
