Saving...
Sunday May 31st 1903 Still raining. I tried to same my chickens by bringing them in the house. I read a little and worried through the work. The weather is so depressing. Monday June 1st 1903 It rained all day. I took care of my chickens, did the regular house work and made tatting for Mollie. Tuesday June 2nd 1903 Still raining. The river is rising very fast. I wrote a letter home today. The boys cannot do \any farm work. Walter is trying to split wood. Will puts in some time at the village watching the river. I went down this afternoon to see it. Wednesday June 3rd 1903 It was showery today but I got some washing done and the clothes dry. I swept the south room down stairs in the afternoon and cleaned up the house some. A note from Hattie says Mother is feeling better. We cannot cross to get to town.
