Saving...
Tuesday July 28th 1903 I did not sleep well last night. I had only just got into a good sleep when I heard some thing at my pet chickens and found 38 were gone only leaving me five. It was very hot and I had the men to get dinner for. They finished three stacks about the middle of the afternoon and quit. Will went to town of an errand. There was a heavy rain just at night. I was fairly prostrated with the heat in the afternoon. Wednesday July 29th 1903 I was busy doing some baking and getting dinner. I went to town in the afternoon to get a few things. I stopped at home. There is to be a party of ladies at Orie Spencers tomorrow and I do so want to go. Will saw the men this evening and they have put of the stacking for another day.
