Saving...
Saturday Aug 12th 1899 I was busy most of the day with baking and cleaning up the house. Will took the butter to town and was gone all day. Weather cooler. Sunday August 13th 1899 I got the work done up early. Henry and his family were down for dinner. We are making plans to stay here another year. Henry is going to build a kitchen and improve in other ways. I did evening work after they had gone home. Weather cool & pleasant. Monday August 14th 1899 Luther helped me do a big washing in the morning. I put up some apples in the afternoon and did ironing. Tuesday August 15th1899 The boys helped Simpsons thresh. I went to town did shopping. Was up to Dr Murphys office. took John home to dinner. found Lee quite sick he worked too hard the day before. I came home to get supper. Wednesday August 16th 1899 I worked at churning and baking all forenoon in the afternoon I worked the feathers in a pair of pillows.
