Thursday March 7th 1901 I did churning and baking this forenoon and in the afternoon went down home while Will went on to town. I read all of the evening. Friday March 8th 1901 I was busy about the house all forenoon. I got early dinner and went down to Marys to spend the afternoon while Will took the butter to town Saturday March 9th 1901 I was busy all morning getting dinner. Will went to town Hattie, Nellie & Legrand were out but hurried home about the middle of the afternoon and were then caught in the rain I am afraid. I read in evening. Sunday March 10th 1901 It was such a gloomy day as it rained and the wind blew very hard. I wrote letters all the spare time I had from the house-work. Monday March 11th 1901 I was busy about the house work a great part of the day. Will helped me take the extra things out of the parlor and I washed up the floor.
