Saving...
it kept it up the greater part of the day. I had Dell help and we got the paper of my room and part of the hall. I did more painting. Thursday September 12th 1901 I did some work in the kitchen in the forenoon In the afternoon we finished taking the paper of the hall and I cleaned the floor in my room. I got a bushel of plums tonight. Friday September 13th 1901 I went to town this morning for things I needed while Ida did the washing. I did more painting and worked at the plums till bed time. Saturday September 14th 1901 President McKinley died today We finished the plums this forenoon and did other work. In the afternoon we papered the little room up stairs but did not finish it till after supper. Dell went to town and did not get back for a hard shower. Ida and I staid all alone. Sunday September 15th 1901 I was at work most of the forenoon. Will got home just before noon he came last night. I talked with him all afternoon. Mollie came back tonight. It is 17 years tonight since Rob died.
