Saturday October 26th 1901 I went to town early this morning. I attended to a lot of errands and was at home by ten oclock I was hard at work all day went to bed early. Ida and Dell went to town. Weather pleasant. Sunday October 27th 1901 Will went to the pasture and I was busy about the house till noon. Otts family and Mother were out in the afternoon. Will was late with his chores trying to shut up hogs to sell tomorrow. Mollie did not come back. Monday October 28th 1901 We did a big washing and got the dinner. I went down town in the afternoon. I was at Fannies a few moments The other folks were not at home as I had time to call on Mollie Folsom. Did churning after I got home and did evening work. Will took two loads of hogs to town in the morning and in the afternoon went to the pasture for a colt he traded of for Old Minn and $15.00. Dells brother began to husk corn in the afternoon Tuesday October 29th 1901 I helped with the ironing and Ida scrubbed the new kitchen after Will took the plaster out I worked at painting all the afternoon. Weather warm and pleasant. Will getting ready to take down the shed at home to move
